The design boutique hotel is nestled in the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Hochkönig region in Salzburg. It offers a sanctuary for inner peace, relaxation, and inspiration – a home away from home where the everyday fades and your wellbeing takes centre stage.
With only six suites, accommodating a maximum of 12 guests, we create an intimate setting where your individual needs take precedence.
The name “stieg'nhaus” is inspired by its centrepiece – the staircase. In Austria, “Stiege” means staircase, symbolising the connecting element of a building. This original staircase, with its softly curved plastered walls and aged metal railing, has been preserved as the authentic foundation of our hotel. It radiates subtle imperfections that evoke warmth and comfort.
