Your Ski Holiday at stieg'nhaus
Located in the heart of Mühlbach am Hochkönig, stieg'nhaus is approximately 1.5 kilometres from the Karbachalm cable car valley station. The ski bus stops directly outside our hotel, providing a convenient connection to the cable car during the winter season. Leave your car behind and enjoy a relaxed start to your day on the slopes.
After a day in the mountains, return to the intimate atmosphere of our boutique hotel, home to just six individually designed suites. Unwind in our rooftop spa overlooking the Hochkönig mountains and enjoy a four-course dinner from our award-winning, three-toque kitchen. A wonderful balance of skiing, relaxation and exceptional dining.
Karbachalm Cable Car – Your Gateway to the Slopes
The Karbachalm cable car valley station is approximately 1.5 kilometres from stieg'nhaus and can be reached in just a few minutes by car. Alternatively, the ski bus provides a convenient connection to the cable car.
On your way back, enjoy the convenience of skiing right to the hotel: a ski trail takes you directly there.
From Karbachalm, you have direct access to the Hochkönig ski region, with a wide variety of pistes stretching from Mühlbach towards Dienten and Maria Alm.
Tobogganing at Kopphütte
The 4.5-kilometre natural toboggan run from Kopphütte winds through snow-covered forests all the way down to Mühlbach, offering a memorable winter experience with beautiful mountain views.
The ski bus stops directly outside the hotel and takes you to a stop below the hut, from where you can continue on foot. Alternatively, we would be delighted to arrange a shuttle upon request.
Alpaca Walks & Winter Sleigh Rides
Discover the Alpine landscape around Mühlbach am Hochkönig in a truly special way. Kniegut offers leisurely alpaca walks and, during winter, romantic sleigh rides through the snow-covered countryside – two memorable experiences surrounded by nature.
