Hochkönig ski region

At its heart lies the Königstour – a continuous ski circuit spanning six summits, 35 kilometres of slopes and 7,500 vertical metres in a single day. Those who take on the tour experience the freedom of the mountains at its purest. Along the way, culinary Königstour stops, rustic huts and refined alpine cuisine combine regional flavours with views that linger.

For families, beginners and leisure skiers, the region around Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach offers a variety of runs, snow parks, funslopes and quiet areas for practice and relaxation. The Hochkeil natural snow area and the Hinterreit family ski area stand for an authentic skiing experience, away from the crowds.

The winter season at the Hochkönig is planned from December 5, 2025 to April 6, 2026 – part of the Ski amadé network and awarded as a 5-star ski area with the best ski circuit in the Alps.
