When you’re traveling with a baby or children, your vacation takes on a rhythm all its own. Sometimes the day starts early, sometimes you linger over breakfast a little longer, and sometimes the best day happens completely spontaneously.
At stieg'nhaus, we want to give families the space to do just that. With only six suites, we can take care of many details personally and ensure that you don’t have to bring half your household with you for your vacation with a baby or children.
Just let us know before you arrive who’s traveling with you and what you need—then we’ll prepare as much as possible for you in advance.

That’s why here at stieg’nhaus, we have plenty of items on hand that parents with babies or young children might need during their vacation.
We can provide a crib, safety gates, a baby monitor, a bottle warmer, a baby bathtub, a changing pad, and a diaper pail. High chairs, children’s tableware, strollers, small baby towels, and children’s bathrobes are also available.
In addition, coloring books and games await our little guests.
With only six suites, we can anticipate your family's needs even before your arrival and prepare the suite accordingly.
Which suite is best for a vacation with a baby or children?
Which suite is best suited for your family depends on the ages of your children and how much space you’d like.
Our aura suites offer enough space for a baby crib and, if needed, an extra mattress or rollaway bed. This makes them particularly ideal for parents traveling with a baby or child who still want to enjoy spacious accommodations.
The pergola suite offers even more space, at around 80 square meters. It can accommodate two adults and up to two children. The suite also features a private sauna and its own outdoor hot tub.
For families who prefer separate sleeping areas, two cubo suites can be connected via a shared entryway. This creates two separate areas while still keeping the family together.

How do breakfast and meals at the hotel work when you're traveling with a baby or children?
Here, you can stick to your own family’s routine—even at mealtimes.
We serve breakfast daily from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., so families can decide for themselves when to start their day.
Maybe everyone’s already awake early. Maybe they’ll play a little longer, cuddle, or take their time getting ready. Breakfast will be waiting.
We provide children’s tableware and age-appropriate seating. We’d be happy to discuss any dietary requests before your arrival.
In the evening, as part of our half-board package, a 4-course meal from our 3-toque kitchen is included in your stay.
For our younger guests, there’s a special children’s menu with dishes that kids will love.
And if you’d rather spend the evening relaxing in the comfort of your suite, you’re welcome to use our room service.
This way, enjoying good food as a family can be a natural part of your vacation.

There’s plenty to discover together around Mühlbach in every season. The Karbachalmbahn cable car takes you comfortably up the mountain, where Toni’s Alm Playground awaits with water, sand, climbing areas, and lots of little adventures.
There are also playgrounds, walking trails, and lovely options for short excursions right around Mühlbach. In summer, adventure trails and numerous mountain activities are added to the mix; in winter, there’s skiing, sledding, and fun days together in the snow.

Yes, right from the Steig'nhaus, you can take a walk along the little stream toward the Karbachalm gondola station. The trail is especially nice for a short stroll in the morning or evening.
